Standout, Kissable Lips
I live in a cycle when it comes to beauty products, and right now I am OBSESSING over lipsticks (previously it was nail polish – which I still obsess over). I know lipstick seems a little old-fashioned, but it is a major trend that is being revived. Lipstick can not only make you feel beautiful on the outside, but it can also give you confidence. My friends and I call this unique confidence, “Personality”.
New Obsession
Lipstick has the power to make your lips look bigger, fuller and alluringly kissable. It completes your entire makeup look. Not wearing lipstick, or some sort of color on your lips, is like wearing a sexy Hervé Léger dress and pairing it with clogs. You have to complete the look, from the eyeliner to the lipstick.
I used to never wear lipstick. I always owned a couple of cheap brands, but never really invested in time or money in this category. I’ve quickly changed my opinion. Mainly, because of my engagement photos, I just looked so much more put together in the pictures with lipstick. I’ve also begun to invest in a lipstick collection because of model imagery and the trends in the market. You will start to see an increased amount of brighter colors hit the market and magazines. I am very excited about this new trend!
MAC Impassioned
My most recent purchase is MAC Impassioned. It is a beautiful bright pink that is flattering on most skin tones. Impassioned is my new “Personality”.
